Znalazłem nowy silnik, którego siła została oszacowana na ~3400 ELO. Troszeczkę mi się nie chce wierzyć. Adminie działaj... Big Grin

Bardzo ciekawy silnik na bebechach Ippolit.
Po pierwsze, zawiera wersje MP 64bit. Można więc go konfrontować na lepszych maszynach.
Po drugie, jest opcja MultiPV, czego brakowało w Robbolito i Ippolit.
Po trzecie, jest przystosowany do współpracy z najnowszymi procesorami i7, przez co liczy o 1/3 szybciej niż Stockfish. Big Grin
Po czwarte, na dystansie 6 partii wygrał ze Stockfish 1.7.1. Wygrana jest dosyć znaczna, bo aż 4-2. W grze silnika widać tendencje do zaostrzania gry poprzez grę na nierównym materiale. Radzi sobie w tych pozycjach znakomicie.

Books - Rybka was using the Rybka Book and Firebird the Fritz Powerbook. (woder what the result would be if tha was reversed?)

I am amazed at the amount of draws, and would point out that Firebird's wins were all in Queen endgames. Rybka's was witha BIshop sac to strip a king.... (took 90 moves however to convert).

Games were extremely cmputer like, nothing like real chess.

Szkoda, że nie mam sprzętu, aby sprawdzić możliwości tego programu. Może pod koniec lata zafunduję sobie nowego kompa, to się do was zgłoszę po poradę, co warto kupić. Na razie mogę pomarzyć o silnym programie grającym.

No ja powiem szczerze, że wcześniej pracowałem na dobrym procesorze dual core i chowa się on w porównaniu do tego co mam teraz. Dobry procesor to podstawa. Niedługo standardem będzie praca na 8 rdzeniach.

Kolejne co zauważyłem... Żar-Ptica czasami ocenia pozycję zupełnie inaczej niż Stockfish... W zasadzie to nie wiadomo, któremu silnikowi ufać.
